Ich wollte nicht, dass sie realistisch wirkt, sondern eher konzeptionell. Die Tatsache, dass ich Gipsgaze für den Aufbau der Skulptur verwendet habe, war dabei sehr hilfreich. Ich habe ihn zudem absolut gewaltig gestaltet, um ein Statement-Stück für den Garten zu schaffen. Die Ohren sind übertrieben dargestellt, ebenso wie die langen Beine und die großen Pfoten. Die Bewegung im Körper wird durch die Art und Weise betont, wie ich die Gipsgaze auf dem Metallrahmen geschichtet habe, um starke gestische Pinselstriche in dem Werk zu erzeugen. Ich transportierte sie in einem Pferdeanhänger, und verschiedene Gliedmaßen der Hasenskulptur zerbröckelten unter dem Druck. Aber in der Gießerei wurde alles repariert! Obwohl ich die Hasenskulptur mit einer elektrisch blauen Patinierung gießen ließ, können Sie auch etwas Traditionelleres wie eine Gießereibronze erhalten. Oder vielleicht bevorzugen Sie eine Farbe Ihrer Wahl!
