GEMEINSCHAFTSGEIST: Stare (Limitierte Auflage von 12)

Diese einzigartige Außeninstallation verwandelt ein privates Londoner Stadthaus in einen Verbindungspunkt für die gesamte Nachbarschaft. Entstanden aus dem Wunsch, Gemeinschaft und lokale Identität zu symbolisieren, dienen diese Star-Skulpturen als subtiles und doch auffälliges „Gesprächsthema“ für Passanten.

Warum der Star?
Während viele Künstler sich exotischen Motiven zuwenden, feiert dieser Auftrag einen typisch englischen Vogel, der oft übersehen wird. Stare sind das ultimative Symbol für sozialen Zusammenhalt. Ich habe darauf geachtet, dass sie alle miteinander sowie mit dem Betrachter interagieren, und es gibt ein subtiles komisches Element in der Art und Weise, wie manche stehen oder sich die Seele aus dem Leib singen!
