Parallel Passé wurde von meiner Arbeit mit der Primaballerina Ksenia Ovsyanick inspiriert. Die Skulptur basiert auf Voronoi-Mustern anstelle meines charakteristischen glatten Stils und knüpft an eine meiner anderen Skulpturen, Athena, an. Sie erzeugt ein magisches Wechselspiel von Licht und Reflexion, das es den umliegenden Gärten, Bäumen und der Landschaft oder dem Innenraum ermöglicht, mit ihrer Oberfläche zu verschmelzen und sich ständig auf ihr zu verwandeln.
