QUEEN BEE (Limitierte Auflage von 8)

Nachdem ich wilde Honigbienen bei ihrer Interaktion beobachtet und sie in der Nähe meiner Werkstatt beim Schwärmen gesehen hatte, ließ ich mich dazu inspirieren, diese Skulptur zu schaffen, um auf die Notlage der Bienen und die untrennbare Verbindung zwischen Mensch und Natur hinzuweisen.

Die wilden Bienenpopulationen gehen weltweit zurück, was sich direkt auf die Natur als Ganzes und unsere Ernährungssicherheit auswirkt. Die Bienenkönigin symbolisiert zudem Fruchtbarkeit (da sie die einzige Biene ist, die sich fortpflanzen kann), Führung, Gemeinschaft und harte Arbeit. In der Folklore gelten Bienen als Beschützer der Waldgeister und werden mit Familie und Schutz in Verbindung gebracht.
