REGALIA: ROTSCHWANZ-RABENKAKADU (Limitierte Auflage von 24 Stück)

„Regalia“ erforscht Zeremonie, Präsenz und Performance durch den außergewöhnlichen Kamm des Rabenkakadus. Wie ein zeremonieller Kopfschmuck aufgerichtet, verharrt der Vogel in einem Moment würdevoller Autorität. Die Komposition lehnt sich an das Operntheater an, in dem Stille genauso gebieterisch wirken kann wie Bewegung und in dem Form, Haltung und Silhouette Macht ohne Spektakel vermitteln.

Das Werk wird von Hand aus Ton modelliert, anschließend abgeformt und gegossen, um die zugrunde liegende Form zu schaffen. Darüber wird jede Feder einzeln von Hand aus Archivpapier geschnitten, bemalt und geschichtet, was eine Textur und Feinheit ermöglicht, die durch Gießen allein nicht erreicht werden könnte.

Diese Skulptur fängt das territoriale Selbstbewusstsein und das königliche Flair des Vogels ein: die Brust stolz erhoben, die Schultern gesetzt und die prächtige Federkrone wie ein bühnenreifer Kopfschmuck aufgefächert, der mit theatralischer Gelassenheit Aufmerksamkeit fordert.
