DER WILDE FISCHER (Einzelstück)

Fischadler gehören zu den produktivsten Fischern der Welt, wobei Fisch bis zu 90 % ihrer Nahrung ausmacht. Sie sind ein Symbol für Weitblick und Kraft und werden in indianischen Kulturen für ihr scharfes Sehvermögen respektiert. Sie gelten zudem als Symbol des Überlebens, da die Art Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts aufgrund des Einsatzes des Pestizids DDT, das ihre Eierschalen zu dünn machte, fast ausgerottet wurde. Seit dem Verbot sind die Bestände der Fischadler jedoch sprunghaft angestiegen und sie gedeihen wieder prächtig.

Diese Skulptur fängt die Anmut eines Fischadlers in der Bewegung ein, wie er eine Regenbogenforelle fängt – ein Symbol für das empfindliche Gleichgewicht zwischen Raubtier und Beute. Sie konzentriert sich auf die harte Realität des Überlebenskampfes in Aktion. Fischadler sind wahre Meister ihres Fachs, die mühelos große Fische aus dem Wasser fangen und davontragen. Ein feiner Umriss von Schottland wurde in den Sockel dieser Skulptur geätzt, eine Hommage an die Heimat des Fischadlers.

Hergestellt aus 260 g/m² schwerem Pastellpapier, wurde jede Feder einzeln von Hand geschnitten, bemalt und auf den Körper geklebt, was die Skulptur mit jeder Feder zum Leben erweckt. Diese Skulptur ist ein absoluter Blickfang, dramatisch und elegant – ein perfektes, einzigartiges Statement-Stück für jede Sammlung.
