PALOMO (Einzelstück)

Pferden wurde die Mähne geflochten, damit sich das Schwert eines Kriegers im Kampf nicht darin verheddern konnte. Palomo war ein berühmtes, hochgewachsenes weißes Schlachtross, das von Simón Bolívar geritten wurde. Es begleitete ihn auf seinen Feldzügen zur nationalen Befreiung in Südamerika. Es wurde ihm 1819 von einem Bauern geschenkt, der im Traum gesehen hatte, dass es sein Pferd sein würde. Paloma bedeutet Taube.
