Few names in automotive history are as closely associated with engineering excellence, performance and motorsport success as Porsche. From its earliest sports cars to the unmistakable silhouette of the 911, the Stuttgart marque has built a reputation for creating some of the world's most celebrated road and racing machines.

Its achievements extend across decades of motorsport, with victories at Le Mans, Daytona and Sebring, success in the gruelling Paris-Dakar Rally and the development of the TAG-Porsche turbocharged engines that powered McLaren to Formula One World Championships during the 1980s. Throughout this history, the Porsche crest has remained a symbol of the company's German heritage and engineering ambition.

In Stuttgart Carbon, Vince Edmunds recreates this iconic emblem through his distinctive combination of glue-chipped glass, genuine 24-carat gold leaf and carbon fibre. The familiar Stuttgart horse, red and black detailing and richly textured gold elements are set against a real carbon fibre background, bringing together the traditional identity of Porsche with the modern materials used in its performance and racing cars.

Each artwork is individually handcrafted to order using 4mm float glass. Vince personally undertakes the glass preparation, sandblasting, glue-chipping, gilding, painting and final assembly. The glue-chipping process produces naturally occurring patterns that cannot be precisely controlled or repeated, ensuring every completed artwork has its own individual character.

Presented in a satin black frame with a gold sight line, each piece includes an individually engraved brass nameplate recording its title, creation date and collection number. A certificate of authenticity, insurance valuation, gold leaf certification and carbon fibre manufacturer's data sheet are also supplied, providing full material traceability.
