DIE CHARAKTERE VOM PICCADILLY CIRCUS (Einzelstück)

Eines meiner liebsten ikonischen Wahrzeichen Londons war in meiner Jugend Piccadilly Circus, gelegen im Herzen von Londons West End. Ich wollte eines meiner alten Kunsthochschulprojekte neu erschaffen und erleben, wie weit sich meine Reise als Künstler entwickelt hat.

Piccadilly ist ein unglaublicher Ort, der den lebendigen Geist Londons wahrlich einfängt. Durch die Verwendung der Farben der beleuchteten Retro-Leuchtreklamen wollte ich ein Bild schaffen, das seine lebhafte und energiegeladene Umgebung einfängt und einen stetigen Fluss verschiedenartiger, farbenfroher Charaktere darstellt, die diesen zentralen Knotenpunkt der Stadt prägen.

Jede meiner handgefertigten Figuren hat ihre eigene amüsante Geschichte und ist mir persönlich wichtig, was mich während der vielen Stunden, die ich in die Erstellung eines meiner liebsten dreidimensionalen Werke gesteckt habe, stets motiviert hat.
