INFINITY (Édition limitée à 19 exemplaires)

Dans la lignée des créations initiées avec la sculpture Crescent, le design Infinity était une nouvelle expérimentation sur la simplicité des formes, visant à voir à quel point je pouvais épurer une sculpture tout en lui conservant une forte présence esthétique.

Comme pour une grande partie de mon travail, Infinity est fortement influencée par les œuvres de Hepworth et Gabo, dont le grand talent a permis de créer des formes véritablement magnifiques, essentiellement très minimalistes et simples, mais qui rayonnent en même temps d'une beauté et d'une présence incroyables.

J'ai voulu explorer cette qualité en associant du fil métallique tendu à une forme métallique courbe très minimaliste, pour voir si la sculpture résultante pouvait atteindre le même type d'attrait esthétique et de présence. J'ai été extrêmement satisfait du résultat et je pense que les matériaux combinés et la manière dont ils ont été appliqués ont parfaitement fonctionné.
