SOLSTICE : EFFRAIE DES CLOCHERS (Édition limitée à 24 exemplaires)

Les effraies des clochers comptent parmi les oiseaux de proie les plus emblématiques et les plus appréciés du Royaume-Uni, reconnaissables instantanément à leur plumage blanc pâle, leurs mouchetures dorées et leur visage doux en forme de cœur. Souvent aperçues planant le long des chemins de campagne ou perchées silencieusement dans les bâtiments agricoles en ruine, elles dégagent une atmosphère d'élégance tranquille et de mystère.

Entièrement nocturnes, les effraies des clochers possèdent des plumes d'ailes spécialement adaptées qui leur permettent de voler sans faire le moindre bruit, faisant d'elles des chasseuses nocturnes quasi invisibles. Leur présence spectrale et leurs déplacements silencieux fascinent les esprits depuis des siècles.

Dans les traditions celtiques et druidiques, les effraies des clochers étaient vénérées en tant que gardiennes des Enfers, voyantes et oracles capables de passer entre le monde des vivants et celui des morts. Dans diverses cultures africaines et amérindiennes, elles étaient considérées comme des présages de mort, tout en étant admirées pour leur grâce solitaire et leur beauté surnaturelle.

Intitulée Solstice, cette sculpture reflète le délicat équilibre entre l'ombre et la lumière, évoquant le vol spectral de l'effraie à travers le ciel au crépuscule. Pièce adaptée aussi bien aux espaces contemporains que rustiques, elle apporte une essence naturelle et éthérée à tout décor.
