Ce charmant petit amphibien m'intrigue depuis de nombreuses années, il m'a donc semblé tout naturel d'essayer de rendre justice à son caractère et à son mythe. Je trouve fascinant qu'une créature aussi petite et apparemment ordinaire secrète une substance si puissante et si étroitement liée à notre cerveau humain qu'elle possède la capacité de provoquer la dissolution complète de son sens du soi et de sa conscience.

Pour les individus qui ont fait l'expérience des puissantes propriétés hallucinogènes de ce petit crapaud sans prétention, l'expérience peut être si profonde qu'elle modifie souvent la vie et les processus de pensée des gens à partir de ce moment-là, les amenant à voir le monde et eux-mêmes sous un jour entièrement nouveau.
