LE PÊCHEUR SAUVAGE (Hors-série)

Les balbuzards pêcheurs sont parmi les pêcheurs les plus prolifiques au monde, le poisson représentant jusqu'à 90 % de leur régime alimentaire. Ils sont un symbole de vision et de puissance, respectés pour leur vue perçante dans les cultures amérindiennes. Ils sont également considérés comme une icône de survie, l'espèce ayant failli disparaître au milieu du XXe siècle en raison de l'utilisation du pesticide DDT, qui rendait leurs coquilles trop fragiles. Cependant, depuis son interdiction, le nombre de balbuzards a grimpé en flèche et l'espèce prospère à nouveau.

Cette sculpture capture la grâce en mouvement d'un balbuzard attrapant une truite arc-en-ciel, symbole de l'équilibre délicat entre prédateur et proie. Elle se concentre sur la dure réalité de la survie en action. Les balbuzards sont de véritables maîtres dans leur domaine, capturant et transportant sans effort de gros poissons hors de l'eau. Une fine silhouette de l'Écosse a été gravée sur la base de cette sculpture, un hommage au foyer du balbuzard.

Fabriquée à partir de papier pastel de 260 g/m², chaque plume a été individuellement découpée à la main, peinte et collée sur le corps, donnant vie à la sculpture avec chaque plume. Véritable pièce maîtresse, cette œuvre est à la fois spectaculaire et élégante, une pièce unique parfaite pour toute collection.
