PALOMO (Pièce unique)

Les crinières des chevaux étaient tressées afin que l'épée d'un guerrier ne s'y emmêle pas pendant une bataille. Palomo était un célèbre grand cheval de guerre blanc monté par Simón Bolívar. Il l'a accompagné lors de ses campagnes de libération nationale en Amérique du Sud. Il lui a été offert en 1819 par un paysan qui avait rêvé que ce serait son cheval. Palomo signifie Colombe ou Pigeon.
