Andolini Art
Mixed Media | Culture & Icons | Bold Reimagined Portraits
Andolini Art (Joe Andolini) is a self-taught British artist whose work fuses photography, collage, graffiti, and mixed media into striking portraits that celebrate cultural icons across film, music, sport, and fashion. Based around London, he reimagines these figures through his own layered visual language, giving familiar faces a bold and contemporary edge.
Andolini Art’s journey into art is as unconventional as it is authentic. After years in bespoke hardwood flooring design - where he first honed his eye for pattern and surface - he pursued photography, studying medium format cameras, darkroom processing, and portraiture at Richmond Adult College. His photography was published in Photography Monthly and Professional Photographer, and by 2022 he had channelled his skills fully into painting and mixed media art.
Working on canvas, wood, and fine rag paper, Andolini Art combines hand-cut stencils, acrylics, sprays, and inks to build texture and depth. His pieces retain the immediacy of street art while carrying the finish and presence of fine art, each one sealed by hand and signed with care. The result is work that feels both raw and polished - an echo of the cultural figures it reimagines.
His art has been shown at Barnes Riverside Gallery, La Galleria in London, the Landmark Art Fair, and the Flux Exhibition in 2025, with collectors commissioning both canvas works and bespoke wall installations. Each piece by Andolini Art carries the energy of music, cinema, and sport - art that captures the icons of our time in a way that feels both strikingly contemporary and timeless.
