Direct Access to Exceptional Work
Original Work, Ready for Commission
One of a Kind, At Any Scale

ARTISAN: Someone who creates with skill, craft and their own hands
COLLECTIVE: A group of people coming together with a shared purpose

Britain’s leading independent artists. Globally represented.

Direct access to exceptional British art, sculpture, furniture and design - curated, commercially aligned and ready to place.

Artisan Collective is not built on art world validation, investment-led narratives, or follower counts. It exists to place exceptional work into real environments, directly and without noise - with active briefs underway and ongoing conversations across international design studios, private clients and commercial partners.

As an invite-only network representing over 150 leading independent British artists, with £10 million of work available online, the website offers a snapshot of the range and capability within the Collective. Full artist portfolios and wider bodies of work sit beyond what is shown here, with direct connection to the artists behind the work.

Artists within the Collective already place work in private, commercial and public environments worldwide, including highly specified settings. Every member is invited for their originality, craftsmanship and what they bring to the Collective, bringing together a curated range that supports a wide variety of spaces and requirements.

Whether you’re working to a brief, exploring the collection, or commissioning something entirely new, we simplify the process and work alongside you from the outset.

From individual pieces to complex multi-site commissions and licensing agreements, we provide a discreet and structured approach, with clear timelines, transparent pricing and global delivery, simplifying access to multiple creators without the need to manage separate conversations, timelines and agreements.

JANE SHAW - Bronze Sculptor

The Artisan Exposé invites you behind the scenes with Britain’s most compelling artists. This feature captures the world of Jane Shaw - a sculptor known for breathing life into bronze, freezing the moment just before something happens.

From her Dorset studio, Jane blends instinctive mark-making with deep field observation to capture movement and emotion - whether it’s a dog mid-roll or a pair of mice poised to kiss. “It’s about the moment just before - that feeling something’s about to happen.”

Her process is both meticulous and collaborative. Collectors are invited into every stage - from concept to wax, from foundry to final installation.

“We were involved all the way through… it made the piece feel like ours.”
“Jane totally understood what I was after - the result was absolutely spot on.”

Her short film, The Essence of Movement, offers a rare window into this journey - revealing the care, craft, and quiet intensity behind each work.
