GOD'S OWN JUNKYARD
Neon Art | Cultural Icon | Electric, Gritty, Enduring
CHRIS BRACEY (1954–2014)
Five Original Works. Never Before Released. Exclusive to Artisan Collective.
Chris Bracey didn’t just make neon - he turned it into an art form. Known as the ‘Neon Man’ and ‘Master of Glow’, his work lit up Soho for over 40 years, shaping the visual identity of British subculture, fashion, and film. From the streets to the silver screen, his hand-bent creations became symbols of raw glamour and urban storytelling.
His neons have appeared in everything from Blade Runner to Eyes Wide Shut, working with the likes of Tim Burton, Stanley Kubrick, and Martin Creed. Collected by names like Elton John, Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, and Damien Hirst, Bracey’s work is as much a part of pop culture as it is fine art.
Now, for the first time, five original works from his private archive are available to collectors - exclusively through Artisan Collective. These pieces have never been shown or sold before. This is more than a release. It’s a rare chance to own a piece of British neon history from the man who defined it.
A short film featuring Marcus Bracey, sharing the family’s history with neon and offering a glimpse into the process behind creating these extraordinary works of art from light.
