Ian Salmon - also working under his fine art alias KiPS - creates vibrant, layered works that blend pop culture, nostalgia, and automotive iconography with expressive technique. Whether reimagining familiar faces or crafting mixed media originals with crushed glass, resin, and street art influences, Ian’s work is bold, direct, and always evolving.
Originally rooted in a career in IT, his return to art became full-time during the pandemic - a turning point that’s since seen him exhibit at major events including Goodwood Festival of Speed, Revival, Autosport International, and Supercar Fest. As KiPS, he explores a premium aesthetic: part Pollock, part Hirst, part Hockney - all his own.
With collectors worldwide and a growing gallery presence, Ian’s practice is as personal as it is dynamic - a space where commissions, culture, and creativity collide.
