Joel Clark is the only automotive artist in the world using hand-cut vinyl as his primary medium - a technique he first learned at Silverstone in the early ‘90s. His work combines motorsport heritage with a punchy pop aesthetic, creating bright, high-impact artworks that mirror the finish and attitude of the cars they depict.
After graduating from Central St Martins and a decade crafting campaigns in global ad agencies, Clark returned to his roots - but this time, cutting vinyl not for race teams, but for collectors. The result is Speed Icons: a series of original, handcrafted tributes to road and race legends, built with exacting detail and serious visual clout.
With collaborations spanning Lewis Hamilton to BRM and Porsche Club USA, his work has carved out a distinctive place in automotive art - high-contrast, instantly recognisable, and cut with purpose.
