Roast Designs creates chandeliers that blur the line between lighting and art. Handcrafted to order in their London studio since 2005, each piece is made from blown glass spheres - a soft, organic take on traditional chandeliers, designed to transform a space whether lit or not.
When illuminated, they throw mesmerising shapes and colours across walls and ceilings. Unlit, they remain quietly captivating - shifting in mood with time of day, weather, and space. The result is a chandelier that’s never static and never standard: a centrepiece that speaks in light and silence alike.
Roast Designs chandeliers suit both contemporary and traditional interiors, bringing warmth and texture to neutral spaces or adding depth to bold ones. Each one is made to order, tailored entirely to the client - with an 8–12 week journey that keeps you involved at every stage, from glass selection to final adjustments.
Why ‘Roast’?
It’s named after the initials of the founder’s children: Ruby, Otis, Alice, Sam, and Tom - a personal touch, at the heart of every piece they make.
