Sir William Bentley Billiards
HERITAGE CRAFTSMANSHIP | BESPOKE TABLES | PRECISION & LEGACY
Sir William Bentley Billiards is a British workshop dedicated to the design, creation and restoration of some of the world’s finest billiard, snooker and pool tables. Rooted in traditional craftsmanship and built around a deep respect for the game, each table is handcrafted to order - combining precision engineering with the elegance of heritage design.
Working from their UK workshop, the team brings together specialist skills across cabinet making, fine joinery, metalwork and finishing. Every table is constructed using carefully selected materials, from solid hardwoods and precision-ground slate beds to hand-finished detailing that reflects both performance and aesthetic integrity. The result is furniture of exceptional quality - built not only to play at the highest standard, but to sit comfortably within the most refined interiors.
Alongside the creation of new bespoke tables, Sir William Bentley Billiards is highly regarded for its restoration work. Antique and heritage tables are meticulously returned to their original condition, preserving both their structural integrity and historical character. This dedication to authenticity has earned the workshop a trusted reputation among collectors and clients seeking pieces of lasting value.
Each commission is approached individually, with an understanding that these are not simply games tables, but statement pieces - often central to a room, a residence or a wider architectural scheme. From private homes and members’ clubs to hospitality and leisure environments, their work is specified where craftsmanship, performance and presence are equally important.
Sir William Bentley Billiards creates more than tables. They create enduring pieces of British craftsmanship - designed to be played on, lived with, and passed down through generations.
