Stacey Beaumont
Slate & Glass Sculpture | Light & Form | Coastal Resonance
Stacey Beaumont sculpts with light, slate, and glass - drawing on the shifting hues of the North Cornish coast and memories of her African childhood to create abstract forms rich in colour, atmosphere, and quiet energy. Her work is grounded yet luminous, inviting reflection and a heightened awareness of space.
Reclaimed slate forms the tactile core of each piece, while glass introduces an airy, responsive element - its colour and transparency continually changing with the light. Found objects and hand-carved inclusions are often woven into the work, creating sculptures that feel both timeless and deeply personal. Each piece carries a sense of past lives and new beginnings, where nothing is lost, only transformed.
Contemporary in form yet elemental in material, Stacey’s sculptures explore the relationship between light, colour, and environment - offering moments of calm, connection, and visual resonance. Her work is held in private collections across the UK and internationally, and she has been shortlisted for both the Wells Art Contemporary and the Ashburner Sculpture Prize.
Each Stacey Beaumont sculpture invites a pause - a quiet moment where light moves through form, memory is anchored in stone, and space is gently altered.
