Stacey Beaumont
Slate & Glass Sculpture | Light & Form | Coastal Resonance
Stacey Beaumont sculpts with light, slate, and glass - drawing on the shifting hues of the North Cornish coast and memories from her African childhood to create abstract forms that feel alive with colour and atmosphere. Her sculptures, while structurally grounded, invite movement and reflection, transforming space with unexpected brilliance and serenity.
Slate forms the exterior of her work, while glass introduces an airy, responsive element - its transparency and colour forever changing with the light. Often, Stacey weaves in found objects or hand-carved accents, creating pieces that are singular and unrepeatable. Each sculpture stands as a testament to material, memory, and moment.
Every creation is bespoke, and Stacey frequently collaborates on commissions - scaling compositions in galvanised steel or cement-based armatures to suit both interior and exterior environments. Her work is held in private collections across the UK and internationally, and she has been shortlisted for both the Wells Art Contemporary and the Ashburner Sculpture Prize.
Each Stacey Beaumont sculpture invites you to pause - to notice how light travels through form, how landscape memory can be anchored in stone, and how art makes space shimmer with quiet wonder.
