Teresa Wells
Sculpture | Human Connection & Poise | Bronze, Resin, Steel
Teresa Wells creates figurative sculptures that explore strength, vulnerability, and emotional presence through the human form. Working primarily in bronze, resin, and steel, her pieces are grounded in classical technique but speak with a contemporary voice - capturing movement, balance, and the quiet dignity of her subjects.
Now based in the East Midlands, Teresa’s practice is rooted in observation, anatomy, and lived experience. Her sculptures often depict moments of reflection, struggle, or grace -scenes that ask viewers to pause and engage not just with the body, but with the emotional truth it holds.
Each piece begins with traditional clay modelling before being cast and finished by hand, often at scale. Her public commissions include installations for Juliet Sargeant, BBC, Netflix and a National house Building company - demonstrating both technical mastery and narrative depth. As a Member of the Royal Society of Sculptors, Teresa is recognised for her contribution to British sculpture, with work held in private collections across the UK and internationally.
Teresa’s work doesn’t shout - it holds its ground quietly, drawing viewers in through balance, empathy, and enduring form.
