Tom Hiscocks
Sculpture | Stainless Steel & Copper | Layered - Reflective - Concept-Led
Tom Hiscocks creates sculptural forms that explore identity, memory and the layered nature of human experience. Working primarily in copper and marine-grade stainless steel, his pieces are designed to shift with light, space and perspective – echoing how people reveal different facets of themselves depending on time, place and state of mind.
Formerly a jockey and trainer, Tom’s second career began with a Fine Art degree at Cambridge, graduating with first-class honours. His work is now held in collections across the UK, Europe, the US and the Middle East – and has been exhibited publicly at sites including Newbury Racecourse and Valentine’s Mansion, where he was introduced to Queen Elizabeth II during her Jubilee tour.
By combining traditional sculpting techniques with modern technology – including 3D scanning and laser cutting – Tom’s work bridges the tactile with the conceptual. Each sculpture is a quiet meditation on form, structure and the unseen layers that shape who we are.
