Proudly Supporting 'Chigwell Riding Trust for Special Needs'
IT’S A PLACE FILLED WITH COURAGE, CARE, AND JOY - AND I’M LUCKY TO PLAY EVEN A SMALL PART.
At Artisan Collective, we believe real craftsmanship is about more than what you create - it’s also about what you give back. That’s why we proudly support Chigwell Riding Trust, a pioneering charity that’s been transforming lives through therapeutic horse riding since 1964.
As the UK’s first dedicated riding centre for people with disabilities, the Trust now delivers around 160 lessons a week, helping children and adults build confidence, independence, and a deep connection through riding. Led by Deborah Hall MBE, the team creates a space where care, dignity, and joy come first.
I volunteer there every week, and I’ve seen first-hand how powerful this work is. Watching the riders grow in confidence, seeing their smiles, and being part of that journey is something I’m proud to support through the Collective.
But the reality is: keeping the horses healthy and the lessons running takes constant support. That’s why we’ve set up a JustGiving page - to help fund everything from daily horse care to specialist riding equipment and ongoing upkeep of this extraordinary place.
If you’d like to help, your donation - big or small - can make a real difference to someone’s life.

Walking with Matthew
This is me with Matthew, one of the regular riders at Chigwell Riding Trust, out for a walk through the sunny woods on Bilbo - one of the incredible horses at the Trust. It’s a chance to give a bit of time, connect, and be part of something that really matters - the same reason I started Artisan Collective.
