Welcome to the Collective
Where Britain’s leading independent artists unite - and collectors discover the extraordinary.
Built with purpose, Artisan Collective is an invite-only platform connecting collectors directly with over 130 exceptional British artists - from painting and sculpture to neon, ceramics and textiles. Distinctive, innovative, and founded on trust, every member is chosen for their originality, craft, and the value they bring to the Collective - ensuring every piece finds its place with those who truly value it.
This isn’t a marketplace. It’s a direct connection between artist and collector - shaped by creative freedom and grounded in integrity. With over 800 artworks valued at £6 million and a combined audience of more than 8 million art followers, the Collective brings together Britain’s most respected independent artists - a vibrant community built on authenticity and excellence.
Artisan Collective is not an advisory or investment service - it’s for those who value true craftsmanship. Each piece is selected for its originality, skill, and emotional pull - not as a financial asset, but as something to live with, enjoy, and connect to. We believe in art for its power to move, inspire, and bring people together - it’s about emotion, not just transaction.
Beyond bringing artists together, we open new doors for collectors - brokering bespoke commissions, offering first access to new releases, and connecting clients with original British design at its finest. Artisan Collective exists to champion Britain’s leading independent artisans, share their stories, and place exceptional work in the hands of those who value it.
Our Core Principles
Artisan Collective is built on trust and transparency. Every sale must benefit both artist and collector - or it simply doesn’t happen. We give artists the freedom to create, and collectors the confidence to buy without barriers: clear provenance, honest pricing, and a direct connection to the maker.
No egos. No middlemen. No jargon. No pretence. Just honesty, originality, and the strength that comes from being stronger together than alone.
BECAUSE STANDARD IS FOR EVERYONE ELSE.

JANE SHAW - Bronze Sculptor
The Artisan Exposé invites you behind the scenes with Britain’s most compelling artists. This feature captures the world of Jane Shaw - a sculptor known for breathing life into bronze, freezing the moment just before something happens.
From her Dorset studio, Jane blends instinctive mark-making with deep field observation to capture movement and emotion - whether it’s a dog mid-roll or a pair of mice poised to kiss. “It’s about the moment just before - that feeling something’s about to happen.”
Her process is both meticulous and collaborative. Collectors are invited into every stage - from concept to wax, from foundry to final installation.
“We were involved all the way through… it made the piece feel like ours.”
“Jane totally understood what I was after - the result was absolutely spot on.”
Her short film, The Essence of Movement, offers a rare window into this journey - revealing the care, craft, and quiet intensity behind each work.

FEATURED ARTIST
Alastair Gibson
From Formula One engineering to carbon fibre sculpture.
Alastair Gibson spent over two decades in motorsport, including 14 years in Formula One where he rose to Chief Mechanic at BAR/Honda. Today, under CarbonArt45, he brings that same discipline and ingenuity to the world of sculpture.
Working in carbon fibre and recycled F1 components, Alastair creates powerful forms inspired by nature - from skeletal structures to fluid marine life - each meticulously engineered and finished to perfection.
In 2024, his Brackley studio was commissioned to design and craft the official British Grand Prix trophies at Silverstone - a huge honour that celebrated both his racing roots and artistic vision.
I was recently invited to his studio to meet Alastair and the team, and to see first-hand the extraordinary precision and multi-stage process behind each work. It’s a rare fusion of engineering, craftsmanship, and imagination.
We’re extremely proud to have him as part of the Collective.
