VANISHING LINES (Limited Edition of 7)
Grundtvigs Kirke is considered the height of Danish masonry. Built around 1940, it used nearly five million bricks, each carefully cut and polished to create a smooth surface that reflects light well. Light from the high windows fills the space and highlights the pale walls, giving the interior a calm, airy, heavenly atmosphere.
The architect combined the geometric style of Brick Expressionism with the vertical lines of Gothic architecture. The result is an understated, humble sense of excellence.
