Hyperrealism | Oil on Canvas | Raw, Unflinching, World-Class
James Earley is one of Britain’s leading hyperrealist painters - a self-taught artist whose work confronts, challenges, and compels. Known for his emotional portraits and social commentary, James uses his art to amplify the voices of the unseen: the homeless, the displaced, and those caught in the margins of society.
His rise began in 2013 and quickly accelerated with major recognitions from the BP Award, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. He has since exhibited at the Mall Galleries, the Venice Biennale, and the Louvre, with work held by collectors worldwide.
With layer upon layer of oil detail, his paintings don’t just depict - they demand to be seen. This is hyperrealism with purpose: a mirror to society and a voice for those left unheard.
