MAYFAIR AFTER HOURS (Limited Edition Print)

This painting is one in Rays ‘Cars of London’ pastel painting portfolio. Each of the cars in this portfolio are painted in accurate scale compared to each other. 

Ray spotted this Porsche 911 Speedster Heritage with Design package parked in Mayfair, London outside the Connaught Hotels Cigar Merchants and used his reference photo to paint this detailed artwork.  This 2019 special version is in GT silver metallic with white front bumper and spears on the fenders.

The minute detail is the background should not be forgotten when focussing on the pop of colour.

The original painting size is - 46 x 35 cm and was painted using Carbothello, Derwent and Faber-Castell pastel pencils, Unison and Rembrandt soft pastels. A maximum of 55 Limited Edition Prints are available. The printed image matches the original painting size with an additional outer white border. Every limited edition print includes the artist signature, is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
