LOVE KILLS (Original)

This painting captures the stillness of a love suspended in time. An abandoned room. A once-loved piano layered in dust. She used to play; he used to listen. He adored her as if she had entered his life like a sudden, wondrous vision - a moment that divided everything into before and after. Then she betrayed him. She left. She disappeared. What remains is preservation. A skull rests on the piano - not as literal death, but as the remains of devotion that could not survive absence.

A pocket watch lies open and motionless on the floor, marking the moment time stopped. An empty drink can hints at long nights of waiting. A single Russian coin suggests distance, exile, and memory held too tightly. On the wall, the words “Love Kills” are written not in rage, but in heartbreak. He has kept the room untouched, as if by preserving it he might preserve the possibility of her return.

This work is not about death. It is about longing. About idealised love that refuses to fade. About hope that lingers long after the music has stopped. In the silence of the room, he is still waiting.
