OCTOPUS (One-Off)
Constructed from mechanical salvage and scrap metal. Car clutches, forged threaded bar, gas pipes, motorbike and bicycle chain, sprockets, gears and parts.
As well as being highly intelligent and a master of camouflage, the octopus moves with grace and fluidity. I wanted to capture the sinuous movement, as well as embody the character of this ultimately fascinating animal.
