TONKIN (Limited Edition Print)

This painting was completed using pastels and pastel pencils, drawn using Ray's own reference photo taken at the Goodwood Revival in 2023. It captures the interior and external reflections through the window of an amazing American hot rod. Ray wanted to challenge himself to capture the multi-layered depth of reflection, realism and show all the intricate detail. Ray chose to paint this in black and white form, so as to better represent the era reflected at the Revival.

The original painting size is - 70 x 70 cm and was painted using Carbothello, Derwent and Faber-Castell pastel pencils, Unison and Rembrandt soft pastels. A maximum of 55 Limited Edition Prints are available. The printed image matches the original painting size with an additional outer white border. Every limited edition print includes the artist signature, is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
