Inspired by the relentless energy of Lewis Hamilton and the sleek aggression of the 2023 Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One car, this sculpture channels pure racing DNA into the form of a red-bellied piranha. Originally conceived for Rubens Barrichello, Alastair Gibson’s interpretation isn’t just a technical marvel - it’s a fusion of predator and machine. Crafted from Grand Prix components and carbon fibre, every contour, fin, and bolt echoes the beauty of precision under pressure.

This Alastair Gibson sculpture captures the aggressive look and the hydrodynamic shape of the Red Bellied Piranha originally commissioned by Rubens Barrichello in 2007.
