AUTUMN SILVER (Original)

In Autumn Silver, Alison Holt focuses on the vertical rhythm of silver-barked trees set against the saturated warmth of autumn foliage. Slender trunks rise through layers of rust, gold and deep red, their pale surfaces catching light and creating contrast within the dense woodland. The ground beneath is worked with close, textural stitch, grounding the composition and anchoring the eye.

Through free-flowing embroidery, colour and line interweave to suggest movement, depth and seasonal change. The work feels immersive and richly textured, holding the moment when autumn colour is at its height and light filters softly through the trees.
