BIRD OF PARADISE (One-Off)

“As with many of my pieces the carved and steam bent Oak came first. The forms gave me a feeling of freedom of expression. Nature always has a potential informed resonance within my work, this work naturally went this way. I don’t ever set out to make something specific, but if the forms, feeling take me a certain way I will go with it to see where it takes me, I like to open doors to see what’s behind them...”
