LITTLE OWL II (Limited Edition of 15)

A life-size bronze capturing the spirited presence of the Little Owl - a species Nick Bibby has long admired for its mix of charm, intensity and fierce character. This is Nick’s second sculpture of the bird, created in response to the high demand and rapid sell-out of his original edition. Rather than repeat the earlier study, he approached this new piece with fresh intent, focusing on the alert posture, expressive gaze and compact strength that define these captivating small predators.

Every feather, contour and transition of form is modelled with Nick’s signature precision, giving the sculpture both accuracy and personality. The stance is upright and engaged, echoing the Little Owl’s habit of surveying its territory with direct, unblinking focus - a moment of quiet vigilance frozen in bronze.

Cast in a limited edition of just 15, Little Owl II balances delicacy with presence, making it a striking piece at close range and a beautifully observed study of one of Britain’s most characterful birds.
