PEARL TABLE (Commission)

A young pearl diver on a quiet, white-sand island, skipping their finds across the shallows of the water. In this simple, playful moment, the precious pearl is transformed into a toy meant only for a single spark of delight as it splashes through the waves.

The Pearl table began by capturing and experimenting with the surface of water, the unique reactions through ripples and spray reveal a delicate connection between solid objects and liquid.

Natural marble roots this piece in ancient, formed material, such as the pearl itself. Each carefully selected marble piece is hand carved to echo and mimic the flowing shapes of water in motion.

Either as a coffee table or art sculpture this piece is a small tribute to nature, movement, physics, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.
