LUNA (Limited Edition of 9)

Luna is a monumental bronze sculpture by Simon Gudgeon, inspired by the elegant form and movement of the curlew. The elongated beak, sweeping neck and smooth flowing body combine to create a beautifully balanced sculpture with a strong sense of rhythm, simplicity and upward movement.

The sculpture’s refined silhouette draws the eye naturally upwards, while the gentle curves and rich bronze patina create shifting tones and highlights across the surface throughout the day. Inspired by both the curlew and the shape of the new moon, Luna carries a quiet sense of optimism and renewal within its form.

Despite its scale, the sculpture retains a graceful and calming presence, sitting comfortably within landscaped gardens, estates and architectural environments. Its clean contemporary lines and organic inspiration allow it to work equally well within natural and highly designed spaces.
