SONORAN DESERT TOAD (Limited Edition of 12)

This lovely little amphibian has intrigued me for many years so it seemed only natural to try and do justice to its character and myth. I find it fascinating that a creature as small and seemingly ordinary as this secretes a substance so potent and intricately linked to our human brains that it possesses the ability to cause the complete dissolution of one’s sense of self and consciousness.

For the individuals who have experienced the powerful hallucinogenic properties of this unassuming little toad the experience can be so profound that it often alters people's lives and thought processes from that moment forward, leading them to view the world and themselves in entirely new ways.
