Serendipity - the occurrence of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way. This is a collection of five spheres, each one made from four lost wax cast hemispheres.

The outer shell is opaque black lead crystal with the inner of each being a combination of two or three colours. Here the flow of glass is left to fate with colours combining to determine the final, happy result.

After extensive cold work and finishing, neodymium magnets and an aluminium ring finish each hemisphere, allowing the two halves of each sphere to be connected, hiding what lies within.
