APPLY WITH CAUTION (One-Off)

This Red & Black ballpoint drawing took James 56 hours to complete. It’s one of the original artworks in his “ON Lux Bag” series.

This series is generally about drawing & painting over luxury gift bags as an expression of spiritual defiance. We too easily give in and associate feelings of lust and desire with luxury brands. There are also emotions like greed, in security, and even jealousy that come with the territory.
