GLOUCESTER ROAD #2, LONDON (Limited Edition of 5)

This was created summer 2021, as the covid pandemic finally tailed off, and we all sought normality.  This image reflects not only the pulse of London but it’s energy.

City Scans is an ongoing series examining the flow of transport and commuting in global cities like Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, Istanbul and Vienna. Using reconstructed high-speed video scans, I capture the movement of people through time and space -revealing the rhythm and pulse of each city. The work explores the blurred boundary between the digital and physical, where commuters become part of the system -absorbed into its data, pace and machinery.
