PORTHMEOR WINTER SWIM (Original)

A broad, atmospheric seascape inspired by the shifting light and pale turquoise waters of Porthmeor Beach. Soft bands of blue, grey and white move gently across the surface, capturing the quiet clarity of the Cornish coast in winter.

Built through layers of acrylic paint and expressive mark-making, the work moves between abstraction and landscape. Textured passages suggest sand, surf and distant cloud, creating an immersive sense of space while preserving the openness and tranquillity of the scene.
