Description
This work was created during lockdown, in weeks of isolation and uncertainty. Like many, I felt the weight of loneliness and the unsettling thought of how fragile life can be. What would remain if the pandemic erased us - an empty frame, a lightbulb, a phone charger, a pair of sunglasses? Small, ordinary objects standing in for everything unfinished.

The painting is both a reflection on mortality and a question of legacy: how much time do we have, and what will we leave behind?
