BRM 1962 WORLD CHAMPIONS (SOLD)

BRM 1962 WORLD CHAMPIONS (SOLD)

Hand-cut vinyl applied to A1 Perspex panel with lacquer finish. This piece is from a 2-part commission from British Racing Motors to commemorate their 1962 Formula One World Championship victory with Graham Hill.

The piece is an homage to 60’s motorsport posters, and every element of the picture is hand-cut - including all the wording. The use of vinyl can be adapted to replicate various design languages from multiple decades, but the simple print processes of the 60’s matched particularly well with the block colours of vinyl.
