Vince Edmunds reinterprets one of the most recognisable emblems in automotive history - the Ferrari Cavallino Rampante - through his distinctive reverse glass technique, bringing a sense of movement, heritage and precision into a contemporary setting.
Formed in glue-chipped glass and 24 carat gold leaf, the rearing horse is rendered with depth and energy, its surface alive with texture as the light shifts across it. Set against the iconic Ferrari red, with enamel detailing applied to the reverse of the glass, the composition is both bold and considered, balancing clarity with craftsmanship.
A defining characteristic of Vince’s process is its unpredictability. The chipping of the glass cannot be controlled, meaning each piece carries its own unique pattern - no two works are ever the same. This subtle variation ensures every edition stands as an individual artwork in its own right.
Presented in a satin black frame with a gold sight line, the piece is finished to enhance the warmth and brilliance of the gilded surface.
The piece is fitted with two mirror plates for secure hanging.
