KULINA - CHEETAHS (Limited Edition of 12)

Kulina is Swahili for “Protect” 

Willow & Wee Willow was another commission from The Big Cat Sanctuary to highlight their incredible breeding programme. Willow, depicts a cheetah mother gently sheltering her cub, a sculptural meditation on protection, tenderness, and survival. The figures are mounted on individually patinated foundry bronze plinths, allowing the patina to flow seamlessly from sculpture to base.

Cheetahs are considered vulnerable on the IUCN Red List, facing threats from habitat loss, climate change, human conflict, and genetic challenges. With low reproductive success, their populations struggle to grow or adapt.
