LOTUS CC PASSION (Original)

Few names in British motoring carry quite the history of Lotus. Founded by Colin Chapman in 1952, the marque became known for its lightweight engineering, innovative design and some of the most celebrated cars in motorsport history.

From the Lotus Seven and Europa to the iconic Esprit, Lotus created road cars that remain instantly recognisable. Its Formula One achievements were equally significant, with legendary drivers including Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Jochen Rindt, Emerson Fittipaldi and Mario Andretti contributing to seven Constructors' Championships.

In CC Passion, Vince Edmunds pays tribute to this British automotive heritage through his distinctive combination of glue-chipped glass and 24-carat gold leaf. The classic Lotus emblem is recreated in gold against its traditional British racing green and black background, bringing together craftsmanship and automotive history.

Each artwork is individually handcrafted to order using 4mm float glass. The glue-chipping process produces naturally occurring patterns that cannot be precisely replicated, ensuring every finished piece has its own unique character.

Presented in a satin black frame with a gold sight line, each artwork includes an engraved brass nameplate recording its title, creation date and collection number. A certificate of authenticity, insurance valuation and gold leaf certification are also supplied.

Lead time: 6-8 weeks.
Size: 56cm x 63cm (22" x 25")
