Waves - A New Perspective
This work is inspired by observing waves break from beneath the surface. Tubes of bubbles, known as 'rib vortices,' form a beautiful and dynamic frame for the wave.
The Last Wave draws influence from the remarkable photography of @benthouard. The colour palette is inspired by his work in French Polynesia and the magic of Teahupo'o, with blue undertones from re-melted waste glass.
The textures and colours are accentuated by the stunning underlit plinth.
