“Sitting outside on a lovely summers day, glass of wine and something flits in front of your eyes, you see it but you don’t really see it, you know what it is, but you don’t really know what it is, its abstract, its ambiguous, its uncertain – it questions what is real, what is fake, its chaos. The idea of forming structure out of chaos is a constant background to my thoughts. Here there is an uncertainty of the present, a consideration of our anxieties, or an expression of excitement about the unknown….”
